Sr. Sales Analyst

We are searching for a talented Sales Analyst to work with the sales team to assist them by evaluating sales data to provide intelligence for better forecasting and targeting of sales activities. 

Essential Functions:

  • Track and maintain all area market pricing from sales team and provide comparisons to current customer pricing and recommendations for pricing adjustments
  • Provide customer performance summaries for customer meetings as requested by sales leadershi
  • Develop database and track regional market share performance 
  • Conduct weekly analysis of Month-To-Date performance vs forecast
  • Maintain forecast database and update monthly with feedback from sales team 
  • Collect relevant market data from sales team during calls and distribute to key stakeholders in organization
  • Maintain master contract allocation workbook for all contract customers
  • Maintain sales dashboard with key regional performance metrics to be reviewed at weekly sales meeting
  • Maintain contract customer metrics on a monthly basis for customer reviews
  • Performs special projects or initiatives as assigned
  • Attend all production calls and compare weekly production allocations to forecast
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain or related field.
  • 3 years’ related experience in sales, supply chain, or marketing related function.
  • Previous background and experience with supply chain functions in oilfield service companies or large logistics or industrial distribution companies is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience and demonstrated comfort level in extracting, consolidating, and analyzing large sets of data from ERP and other supply chain or operations systems required.
  • Experience with energy sector market analysis strongly preferred.
  • Experience with search engines, web analytics, business research tools and emerging technology platforms and services required.
  • Proficiency with Rystad, Railtronix, RS Data, NavPort, strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience and understanding of the Salesforce product suite highly desirable.
  • Strong project management skills from inception to delivery; ability to respond effectively to aggressive timelines required.

  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel and Power Point required)
