Determines global classification designation for parts, equipment, and technology while maintaining documents in Oracle and other systems to demonstrate reasonable care standards.
Understands export licensing, including the ability to apply for/seek export licenses, monitor compliance with license conditions, and keep good internal records of export licenses (USML/ECCN/Israel).
Documents and administers Trade Control procedures.
Prepares and submits export license applications and classification requests, as required.
Monitors import and export documentation, assuring compliance relating to FTAs, licensing and current tariffs.
Works with business to leverage appropriate import regime.
Provides guidance to local business units on matters concerning import and export requirements including documentation, tariff classifications, customs valuation and country of origin determinations. 
Provides procedural guidance to global operations and assists personnel in resolving import/export related issues.
Manages record keeping processes and archives entry records.
Assists with maintaining/revising import broker audit criteria and completing monthly monitoring/audits of import brokers for compliance.
Understands and applies applicable FTAs.
Monitors trade system, recommends improvements and works with appropriate groups to ensure integrity of the system.
